Really, hellraid ain't THAT good sure it adds good weapons, etc. Head to his desk and you’ll see one of the Faceless standing beside him. To unlock this goody for yourself, you’ll need to increase your Level of Trust rank. It has exceptional accuracy and does more damage than the standard Police Rifle, although it is a bit slower than any other ranged weapon available in The Following. This weapon uses retrievable bolts so that you never run out of ammo.
It's going to get story updates probably with some new weapons and maybe some other things you could carry over to the base game.

Not to mention, this isn't even the last update for Hellraid. One of the most useful new additions is the Compound Crossbow. It also gives you a blueprint for the best bow, so there's that too. Vehicles, new enemies, new mechanics, and some new weapons to take out your enemies. Dying Light has new elements introduced in Dying Light The Following.
